GP Network Northside (GPNN) is the trading name of the Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Ryde Division of General Practice (HKRDGP). Founded in 1992, as the Hornsby Division of General Practice, a not-for-profit company, it subsequently merged with the Ryde Division of General Practice to become HKRDGP.
In 2012, GP Network Northside established the Northern Sydney Medicare Local in line with Australian Government policy to set up regional organisations of primary health care. The Board and members of GP Network Northside decided to remain as an independently-funded not-for-profit company.
